The news about the death of Jett Travolta is very sad indeed – he was only sixteen years old. But the kid obviously had health problems.

Some years back – about ten years ago – I recall reading that Jett was a very difficult child to control behaviour-wise. This was reported via a nanny who had worked for the Travolta’s. At the time this was put down to Jett being a typical spoilt Hollywood child…but now we know better.

That boy was not a well kid. His Dad can afford to own and fly his own planes – but sometimes no amount of money can buy the most important things.

‘The ego’s have landed!’

That’s how CBB UK-style got off the ground last night and what an odd mix has been assembled this time round. Already ‘Mini-me’ Verne Troyer is being tipped to win the big prize having captured the crowd’s attention on the red carpet last night. I’m not so sure…

He might appeal to the masses as ‘cute’ but that could easily wear thin if he lives up to his promise of being ‘evil’ and causes trouble.

Michelle Heaton was being eyed-up by several of the male housemates as she introduced herself around on arriving in the house – Ben Adams and Terry Christian both got as much ogling in as they could of Michelle’s rear end as she was air-kissing her other housemates.

And as for Ulrika Jonsson - with her well known ‘eye’ for tall, well built men she and Tommy Sheridan just might hit it off scandalously well. Hope Tommy knows that Ulrika has four kids including a six month old baby at home (but when has that ever stopped her…).

It remains to be seen just how long Coolio can keep up being cool - especially with famously nutty fruit cake LaToya Jackson for company. I just cannot wait to see what that woman looks like first thing in the morning!
