Now that the divorce between Peter and Andre and Katie Price has been finalised he must be breathing a sigh of relief; what he instigated has gone full circle and now he is free of being married to ‘Jordan’. For Peter Andre the going has been rather smooth – the public loves him, he has been doing all the right things being photographed carrying his kids on each hip and crying at every opportunity about his terrible situation…that he brought on himself. His ex-wife meanwhile has been bearing the brunt of a vile public campaign fueled by the media and by Peter Andre’s silence and refusal to clarify just why he left her. So the public have decided for themselves that Katie Price is totally and completely to blame for hurting ‘poor Pete’. For the second time she has been assaulted by a member of the public after being also spat at, abused verbally and defamed in the media. What is next?…something nasty I suspect.

What a sanctimonious and cruel public the British are – this is a wrecked marriage with three children involved and one would think that Ms Price was a paedophile for all the spite and hatred she has attracted. Peter Andre has sanctioned this awful treatment of his ex-wife with his pathetic public displays of tears and ‘daddy photo ops’ with the children while Katie has been vilified. I wonder how he would feel if the next step would be for some nutter to do Katie some real harm – how would he explain THAT to his children!

He has repeatedly made out how much she hurt him without letting on just why and how…he has cast her to the lions and chooses to remain silent. What an ungallant man he is – she is the mother of his children and he should NOT stand by and watch her being treated in such an appalling way, like I said, some nutcase just might go too far. Shame on him.

First of all I do love this show – glamourous, glitzy with great dancing and music. If you can put up with the ‘who are they’ celebrities that nobody can recall from recent times then the show makes for a great nights entertainment.

But one thing is really irritating me about this years effort and that is the female contestants who are considering it to be a slimming competition rather than a dancing spectacular.

If you have seen the previous shows you will know that along the way some of the ‘celebrity’ dancers rant on and on about how much weight they lost over the course of the show. This also applies to the Dancing on Ice series…

This year we have Natalie Cassidy, Lynda Bellingham and Zoe Lucker (who IS she???) all signed up and waffling on more about how much weight they intend to lose than how good at dancing they intend to be. Then you have the inevitable ‘romance’ rumours between celeb dancers and their pro-dancer partners which only serve to give these desperate celebs some publicity and keep up interest in the series as it plods along…

Whatever, bring it on and I’ll be glued.

This is all getting rather irritating to say the least. Personally I am of the opinion that they still have the hots for each other but things have gone too far and neither will admit it. Pete is obviously jealous over Katie’s new bloke Alex (not a patch on Pete if I may say so…) and Katie does not hide her still-strong feelings for Pete very well at all. In short, they want each other back.

Did you see Pete’s show the other night ‘Going it alone’…? what a whine-fest that was. One hour of Pete whinging about his lot – listen mate, YOU walked out on HER – YOU split the family up – YOU ended the marriage so accept that you should feel some guilt! Katie on the other hand would take him back in a flash – but I wish she would ditch that awful faux-latin look she has been sporting for the last couple of years. Her face is too brown, her skin looks rough and she looks as though she needs some top acne treatment. The whole look is too harsh and makes her look older than she is.

I think if Katie went back to the blonde-look, which made her look so much softer, Pete would take notice. I’d bet he’d be on her doorstep in a flash.
