Ten months after Patrick Swayze revealed he was battling pancreatic cancer it has seemed he might have been giving this insidious disease a real run for it’s money. But sadly, just days after giving a very intimate interview with his wife Lisa to Barbara Walters, Patrick has been admitted to hospital with pneumonia.
This is not a good sign at all.
Pneumonia is usually the one thing that cancer sufferers hope to avoid as their damaged immune system has little hope of fighting the condition.
No doubt wife Lisa will be there with Patrick so lets all pray that he is able to rally against this latest attack on his body and spirit.
But then again, if worse comes to worst, we all pray that the next few days or weeks are the start of a peaceful journey for him. Just remember Sam’s words to Molly: ” the love inside, you take it with you…”
