Both were at fault in that marriage - he needled her as much as she did likewise only Katie was always shown to be the bitch and Pete the poor pathetic recipient. I find it interesting how most of the vitriol comes from females; I would say this is bringing out the green-eyed side in those people who find strong, independent women a source of annoyance. It is typical. She is better rid of him - I am sure there are other women out there who would prefer a whiner for a husband and who would not mind being kept in their place. He comes from such a culture where men like to be the boss - I like that Katie is her own boss. Suck on that for a while.
