It promised to be the BB to end all BB’s – well it is in fact when you consider that the house full of BB has-beens are the last lot to ever grace the BB House. The inclusion of the self-loving Makosi and that nasally-irritating freak Nadia was a low point for me, and complete predictability in the lets-hate-Ulrika campaign. Nasty Nick has mellowed since his appearance in the first Big Brother back in 2000 when he was unceremoniously booted out of the house – the Nick of 2010 is actually quite a nice person who so far has not stooped to getting involved in the histrionics, actually he seems to stand around rather detached from it all looking at times quite embarrassed. Cannot blame him…
But throwing the simpering Chantelle Houghton and her insipid ex-husband Preston together in the mix was obviously nothing short of a PR stunt designed by their respective agents. From day one we have been treated to constant episodes of Chantelle’s sobbing and mooning about over her divorce from Preston. For gods sake Preston, either tell the woman she’s last years left-overs and be done with it or do what you are both clearly in there to do…get back together again!
Just think about the money you could both rake in from a gullible public a second time.
